Indian diaspora delegation meets India envoy in Hamburg
A delegation representing the Indian community and Hindu Mandir Elmshorn paid a courtesy visit to the Consulate General of India in Hamburg.

TARN TARAN: A delegation representing the Indian community and Hindu Mandir Elmshorn paid a courtesy visit to the Consulate General of India in Hamburg and met newly appointed Consul General Raakesh Natraj.
Led by Hindu Mandir Elmshorn President Anil Sharma, the delegation included Arvind Sinha, Punit Kumar, Srinivas Vaddadi and Amit Mairal. Sharma presented flowers to Natraj and conveyed greetings on his new assignment.
The delegation discussed India-Germany relations, the Indian diaspora’s contribution in Northern Germany, cultural diplomacy, education, Ayurveda, community development and people-to-people ties.
A key focus was the proposed Global Centre for Hindu “Way of Living” and Intercultural Exchange at Hindu Mandir Elmshorn.
“We were delighted to meet Mr. Raakesh Natraj and have a constructive exchange. We look forward to working with him and the Consulate to strengthen India-Germany relations and advance our vision for an Elmshorn centre dedicated to culture, knowledge, health and intercultural exchange.”
